SHS BURRIDGE ARCHITECTS have extensive experience working with universities. We have provided professional services from design through to contract administration for a range of specialist projects. This has included both new-build and refurbishments, from agriculture sheds, remodeling, and upgrading of teaching spaces to extensive window replacement projects.

We have also developed expertise in designing and delivering exacting laboratory projects for universities in Scotland. We liaise with our specialist clients to configure laboratories, coordinate the design team to produce documentation, procure contractors and act as Contract Administrators through to practical completion of the project.

SHS BURRIDGE ARCHITECTS work with local communities to deliver professional advice and guidance in relation to developing existing and new community buildings. This includes acting as the Client’s Representative for construction projects and through to the setting-up and running of community centres. We also prepare feasibility studies for proposed developments and work with other consultants to test the viability of projects for community asset transfers.
