We are also engaged with the Health & Safety requirements for building projects. SHS Burridge Architects offer Principal Designer services concerning CDM Regulations 2015, taking the lead in planning, managing, monitoring, and coordinating health and safety during the pre-construction phase of the project.
- PLANNING PERMISSION
We develop the design and prepare the necessary drawings and supporting documentation, including the design and access statement, complete the required forms, and submit Planning applications.
- BUILDING WARRANT
We further enhance the design to comply with the Building Regulations. We prepare the necessary drawings and supporting documentation, complete the required forms, and submit the Building Warrant application.
- TENDER DOCUMENTATION
At this stage, we prepare the necessary specifications, schedules, and detailed drawings for contractors to give a realistic price. We then organise the tender process, compiling and issuing the tender documentation and receiving the tender returns. Tenders are then checked and reconciled, and a report is prepared for the client.
- CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
While the building works are being carried out, we will visit the site and carry out inspections. We answer the contractor’s queries, deal with any variations, authorise stage payments, and generally make sure the works and contract are conducted correctly.
